Dr Olga Ostrowskyj is a Women’s Health physician with over 30 years experience exclusively on and in Women’s Health. Over the years her job description has included clinical service provider, a teacher/clinical instructor to both doctors, medical students and nurses, a lecturer, a research coordinator and a surgical assistant.

  • 1988-2005: Women’s Health Clinic: Aardmann Medical Services, Charlestown
  • 1988-2005: Assistant in Gynaecological Surgery at Warner’s Bay and Lake Macquarie Private Hospitals

Other interests:

  • Born, raised and educated in Adelaide, Olga moved to Newcastle in 1979 due to her husband’s academic position at the University of Newcastle. While raising 3 children to adulthood, Olga was and is some cases still is involved in the Newcastle Multiple Birth Club (her second pregnancy resulted in identical twins), Multicultural and Ethnic Affairs and the Ukrainian Community of Newcastle. Her creative side is expressed through creation of culinary delights to the sound of classical music especially the soulful sounds of a cello or the passion of a flamenco guitar. Regular yoga classes and walking on the banks of Lake Macquarie provide solace to counter the demands of her life.
